Payment is requested at the time of service. We accept many forms of payment such as cash, personal checks, VISA, Master Card, Discover, American Express, and Care Credit.
Financially, the hospital is not able to burden the losses associated with charge accounts, the checking of each client's credit rating and the monthly maintenance of billing. In order to accept charge accounts, we would need to raise prices by 5% or more to cover those additional expenditures. We prefer to keep our prices reasonable.
If financial problems exist, please make other arrangements with your bank or financial institution which are prepared for this type of service.
In those cases where accounts are not paid in full, bills will be sent out each month on the first of the month. In order to offset this additional cost, a $3.00 statement fee will be added to the balance each month the bill is not paid in full. A monthly finance charge will also be incurred at 1.5% of the amount due each month. In order to avoid these additional charges, payments must be received prior to the first of the month.
In cases where the account is not paid in full, or payment is not received monthly on the account in a timely manner, or payment is in arrears by 60 days we will place it with an outside collection agency for handling.
